Cancer Treatment :
At the Hope Center, we provide treatment for all types of cancers
using the latest available chemotherapeutic and immunotherapeutic
agents, aiming to bring to Wabash Valley the best cancer care available
any where in the country.
Symptom Control : For
incurable cancers or in situations where aggressive therapy is inappropriate,
we focus on symptom management. Our approach is to maximize the
independence of the patient, safely control pain and try to keep
the patient symptom-free for as long as possible by using the most
advanced pain medications and devices available.
Early Detection and Cancer Prevention :
Prevention clinics at the Hope Center aim to detect Prostate
Cancer and Breast Cancer at the earliest stages, providing the best
chance of cure to the patient. A Smoking Cessation Program will
be offered to prevent lung cancer.
Research : We are acutely
aware that a lot still remains to be learned about the best way
to treat various cancers. To this end, we participate in a number
of clinical trials offering experimental treatment options to our
patients, that otherwise would be available only through major universities
and cancer centers.
Infusion Center :
Our Mission is to provide quality outpatient IV antibiotic
and other related infusions. While working closely with the Primary
Care Physician we strive to offer timely service and individualized
patient care there by decreasing patient cost, waiting time and risk
of nosocomical infections.
PET Scan
: Position Emission Tomography (PET) is a camera that produces powerful
images of the human body and allows the physician to see what is
happening inside your body. PET is a non-invasive procedure that
provides that provides unique information about the body's metabolism,
cell function and exact location of a disease-information not available
through CT or MRI. Unlike CT or MRI, which look at anatomy or body
structure, PET studies body function
Support groups : Support group is held the third
